Anna Owen

Hails From:

Johns Creek, Georgia, USA

Training:

Terminus School of Modern Ballet, PTP

Anna started dancing at age 4 with Perimeter Ballet, a local studio in Duluth, GA. She was able to perform from a young age, including several roles in classical and story ballets, nurturing her love for dance. At age 14, Anna's hybrid high school schedule allowed her to begin training with former principal dancers Kristi Necessary Loveless and Stacey Slichter in a daytime program they designed for students. She participated in several local competitions including YAGP and Universal Ballet Competition and has also gained valuable insights from summer programs with Atlanta Ballet and Ballet West, as well as Joffrey's contemporary ballet intensive in San Francisco. While continuing her training with a focus on classical ballet technique, she began to expand her horizons and explore contemporary styles as well. In 2020, Anna joined Terminus School of Modern Ballet's PTP, training under Christine Welker and the artists of Terminus Modern Ballet Theater. She enjoys learning and performing both classical and contemporary repertoire and is excited to work more closely with the company and further her training as part of the Protégé Program.
