Gainesville, Georgia, USA

Terminus School of Modern Ballet, PTP

Mary began her dance training at the Gainesville School of Ballet at the age of five, and continued on to dance with the Gainesville Ballet Company until graduating high school in 2019. She spent years as a student teacher for the Gainesville School of Ballet and taught ballet for the Boy’s and Girl’s Club throughout high school. Mary’s own training was enhanced by attending summer intensives, including the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C., Ballet San Jose in California, and Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre. She twice attended the International Ballet Intensive as a scholarship awardee, where she was thrilled to have Laura Alonso and Paloma Herrera as teachers. As a third year student at Kennesaw State University, Mary is pursuing a B.A. in dance with a concentration in ballet, as well as a B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies with a concentration in design. She is grateful to have been dancing with TMBT's Professional Training Program since 2019, and to now be given this wonderful opportunity to participate in the Protégé Program with Terminus.
