Amalie Chase

Amalie Chase, who grew up outside of Philadelphia, started dancing at the age of 3 and received her early classical training from Sherry Hiott at Delaware Dance Company. She participated in YAGP Philadelphia, Regional Dance America NE, and local dance festivals where she received recognition through awards and scholarships. She supplemented her ballet training by attending summer intensives at CPYB, Charlotte Ballet, Miami City Ballet and BalletX, and was invited to join Charlotte Ballet as a Trainee at 16. While at Charlotte Ballet, Amalie had the opportunity to perform alongside the company, dancing featured roles in their productions of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s The Nutcracker, Matthew Hart’s Sleeping Beauty, and Christopher Stuart’s Peter Pan. Other notable performances include Lickety-Split by renowned choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo, George Balanchine’s Faust, and with the Moving Poets in their rendition of The Little Prince. She has had the privilege of training under Patricia McBride, Laszlo Berdo, Kati Mayo, Darla Hoover, and the late Marcia Dale-Weary. Amalie is excited to join Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre as a Protege for the 2023/24 season!
