Originally from Buffalo, NY, Amy Gerome has called Atlanta home for the past 40+ years.

She earned a B.A. degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From there she relocated to Atlanta to escape the snow, where she met her future husband, Dan. Together they raised three children.

During her working career, mostly with large companies such as Avon Products, Genuine Parts and Home Depot, she worked mainly with databases systems creating business intelligence.

Her philanthropy efforts have included numerous arts organizations across the city. She served on the finance committee of the Atlanta Ballet board from 2013 - 2025.

A recent retiree, she plans to spend much of her free time (in no particular order) in creative writing, philanthropy, travel, and enjoying young grandchildren (whenever their parents are willing to part with them!).
